Oregon’s Public Schools are Failing Everyone, Especially the Kids.
Who could possibly know that removing graduation standards and replacing basic education with political indoctrination would result in the total failure of public schools? Everybody.
There’s a certain amount of time in a school day and Democrats have filled it with so much Biden Administration DEI and gender theory curriculum that Oregon kids don’t have time to learn to actually read and write. Today, more than 60% of Oregon children are testing below grade level in reading, writing and mathematics. Democrats in Salem claim that’s because their own education system, which they completely control, is racist. So, what’s their solution? Remove graduation standards, continue to revoke local democratic control over public school districts and continue their political agenda of cramming dangerous nonsense into the next generation of impressionable minds.

Remove centralized power from the Oregon Department of Education by restoring local democratic control over all school districts. Inact school choice laws in which the education funding follows the child. Remove all state requirements of Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) which forces teachers to learn and teach Gender and Race Theory against their will. Reinstate graduation and basic education requirements FOR ALL KIDS to achieve the highest national education standards.
